Our Humble Beginnings.

Children’s Costume Specialist was established in 2012, with the focus of providing costumes and accessories to preschools for their end-of-year concerts. Of course, after studying the market in Singapore, we realise that there are few costume shops that cater specifically to children, and even much lesser exist in the virtual shopping space. So we decided to combine the two and make it possible for parents and preschool teachers to be able to purchase children’s costumes at very affordable prices! Currently, our costumes are sold both online and in our physical store located at AZ @ Paya Lebar!
Why children’s costumes? Where do we even begin….Well, we love kids!
As an ex social worker, I have worked with children with autism, and those unfortunate children who has cancer. I have seen how children are easily thrilled with the simple concept of pretend play and dress-up. Together with my partner, whose mother used to be in the child care sector and whom noticed the lack of a variety of affordable costumes and reliable costume suppliers for preschools, we decided to come together and combine our love for costumes and children and that’s how Children’s Costume Specialist was established!
In this space, we will be sharing more about ourselves, our beautiful costumes, and even discussions on performance ideas! So, do come back and visit this space for updates!
